The Fender Player II Jazzmaster RW Black is a 6-string solid body model with an offset-style body shape. Made from high-quality alder, this body offers a warm, rich and resonant tone. The classic alder body is available in both timeless Fender finishes and never-before-seen, modern colors. Everything about the neck is designed for fast and fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius of the rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The Fender Player II Jazzmaster RW therefore offers easy bending and a pleasant playing feel.
Electronics and hardware
The two Fender Player Series Alnico V single-coil Jazzmaster pickups deliver a crystal-clear, dynamic tone. The aged white pickup covers are a real eye-catcher and give the guitar a touch of Vintage vibes. The 3-way switches lets you adjust any sound , from the crystal-clear sound of the neck pickup to the venomous, biting sounds of the bridge pickup and everything in between. The 6-saddle Jazzmaster bridge with floating tremolo, the improved Mustang saddles and the ClassicGear™ tuning machines ensure precise tuning stability and offer the flexibility to discover endless tonal possibilities.
In addition, the Jazzmaster comes from the factory with Fender strings in a string gauge of .009 - .042, which offer you a light and comfortable playing feel. An Allen key is included in the including so that you can adjust your guitar optimally at any time. The nickel/chrome hardware rounds off the overall picture perfectly and gives the guitar a classy optics.

Fenders berühmte, in Mexiko gefertigte Player-Serie war seit ihrer Einführung eine feste Größe innerhalb der großen Fender-Produktpalette. Player-Gitarren und -Bässe erfreuten sich insbesondere bei ambitionierten Anfängern und fortgeschritten, budgetorientierten Gitarristen großer Beliebtheit. Inzwischen ist die gute, alte Player Serie allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es wird Zeit für etwas Neues: Die Fender Player II-Modelle!
Wie bei der Vorgänger-Serie setzt Fender auch bei den Player II-Modellen wieder auf das Motto „Weniger ist mehr“: Die Gitarren bestehen zwar aus den selben, hochwertigen Hölzern wie ihre Verwandten aus den USA, bei der Technik wurde allerdings auf unnötigen Schick-Schnack verzichtet und der Fokus eher auf guten Klang und eine verbesserte Spielbarkeit gelegt. Dabei herausgekommen sind E-Bässe und E-Gitarren, die zwar unverkennbar dem Vintage-Fender-Look nacheifern, aber ebenso mit einem modernen Sound und Spielkomfort überzeugen können.
