When looking for the right trombone, it can be difficult to make the right choice given the large selection of different models. In order to simplify the purchase decision, we divide our range into three types of instruments: tenor trombones, tenor trombones with fourth valve and bass trombones . In the various categories we offer models from the brands Kühnl & Hoyer , Schagerl , B&S , Jupiter , Yamaha and Chicago Winds , among others.

How are trombones different?

Most of the models offered are painted. The bell materials usually vary between brass or gold brass . Nickel silver or gold brass is usually used for the outer cable .

Tenor trombones are offered in different scale lengths. Entry-level instruments are usually provided with a smaller M- bore . For tenor trombones with a quart valve, the medium-wide ML bore and often also the wide L- bore are used. The bell cone and the bell diameter also vary depending on the bore .

How much does a trombone cost at session?

Our affordable entry-level models start at around 200 euros. mouthpiece, a sturdy light case with backpack straps and session quality check are already included in this price. You don't need anything else to get started!
Many well-known manufacturers are represented in our mid-price segment between 1500 and 2500 euros. Here we offer the largest selection of instruments. Elegant individual pieces with very high-quality valves and engravings are of course also available from us and range in price up to 5000 euros.
