The Yamaha company followed this approach when developing its successful desktop amp THR10II. In addition to tube amps, full and half stacks and combo amplifiers - which of course deliver a great sound as soon as you turn them up right - Yamaha didn't just want to provide a smaller version of the large amplifier for relaxed practice at home .
A new concept was needed.
With the revised THRII series with virtual circuit modeling , Yamaha has succeeded in creating another amp catagory that, with its features , is ideal for playing in your own four walls and provides its players with modern features.
Underneath the robust and elegant enclosure of the THR10II lies 2 x 10 watts of power , enough power to flood cozy living areas and children's rooms with rich electric guitar sounds via the 2 x 3.15" loudspeaker .
The built-in extended stereo technology ensures a room-filling and wide sound despite the narrow housing dimensions of just 36.8 x 18.3 x 14.0 cm. In order to further customize the sound to your own taste, the player has access to a 3-band EQ and a powerful effect processor .

Different amplifier models can be selected using so-called amp types , which also makes the living room amplifier interesting for electric basses and acoustic guitars with built-in pickup .
By the way, all sound settings can be conveniently controlled from the sofa via the THR Remote APP using your smartphone. So you don't necessarily have to stand in front of the amplifier to change your sound from clean to dirty. To play your favorite music and play-alongs or to use the THR as a modern music box , all THRII models are equipped with bluetooth technology for audio player .
