Know-how
With us you not only get what you need - we also show you how it works! Go to the guides.
Whether legendary clean boost sounds, transparent overdrive or just as a signal booster - Centavo has all the popular sounds of the legendary original pedal.
To achieve the faithful overdrive sound , Warm Audio uses carefully selected components in the Centavo, including TL072 operational amplifiers and high-quality diodes that deliver the characteristic clean boost, edge-of-breakup and hard-clipping sounds . Staying true to Vintage pedal design, the Centavo circuit is housed in a custom cast gold enclosure with carefully reproduced "Oxblood" tone controls.
Centavo has three simple controls on the front panel - gain, Treble and output, just like the original. In addition to the original sounds you expect from a Vintage pedal, Centavo also features a "MOD"switches on the back. In the "up"position , the switches activates a modification made famous by Jeff Beck that increases the bass response by changing the value of the high pass filter. Due to the careful circuit design, the specially cast "champagne" gold housing and the first-class selection of components the Warm Audio Centavo is mega-authentic and offers all aspects of this legendary pedal.
