The Wampler Mofetta overdrive / Distortion is Brian's tribute to the MOSFET-powered magic of a 1990s classic - the MT10 MOSTORTIONtm. A size for countless top session players, the Mofetta honors the soul of this hard-to-describe but classic circuit while revealing its untapped potential.
The Mofetta is an extremely powerful MOSTORTIONtm successor that delivers the classic amp-like overdrive, massive headroom and versatile 3-band equalizer that made the original so famous. However, Brian Wampler wanted more and added a Texture switches that inserts MOSFETs into the overdrive section of the pedal for a fatter, more articulate tone. The Mofetta retains everything you love about the early 90s legend with a powerful new Wampler dimension.

Brian Wampler, CEO of Wampler Pedals has created some of the best effects pedals in the world. From the humble beginnings of modding pedals to producing his original boutique pedals, it's been a long journey for Brian. Primarily a guitarist himself, he has always been a real gear nerd - trying out different guitars, amps and of course pedals - always with the aim of achieving the best possible sound. Every pedal on the market that Brian played just didn't deliver the sounds he craved. So instead of settling for the standard sounds, he started tweaking and modifying pedals here and there to get closer to the sounds he heard in his head.
These pedals didn't satisfy Brian either, so he started to develop his own designs. Thus was born Wampler Pedals, a brand that is gaining more and more fans.
With a wide range of current products and more and more new products, Brian Wampler continues to bring world-class guitar sounds to the market for great guitarists. The process from the development of a guitar pedal to its release is a long one, but the results are worth it. Brian is now supported by an energetic team in the development of his pedals.
