With the Grand Pacific Dreadnought body shape, exclusive comfort features and premium tonewoods, the Builder's edition 517 WHB introduces guitarists to a new type of sound in the Taylor range. Solid mahogany bottom and sides produce a warm, punchy midrange with projection and aged warmth from the torrefied Sitka spruce top, resulting in a balanced tone with plenty of power in the bass range. V-Class Bracing improves response with more volume and longer sustain while providing more balance between tones. This Builder's edition model also features beveled sides and a compound carve neck profile for a fluid playing feel, and the Silent Satin finish reduces annoying playing noise in recording applications.
