In the late 1960s , Asian-made guitars that closely resembled US instruments in look and sound began to arrive in the United States. This trend was followed in 1970 by founding SIGMA Guitars , a brand whose guitars were very similar to those of the cult manufacturer Martin Guitars and did not have to hide from their American role models when it came to sound . SIGMA's guitars were produced in China and Indonesia and inspected and tuned in the USA . Most of the guitar makers were trained in the USA and had extensive specialist knowledge.
The SIGMA Guitars brand has been in German hands for several years, but it is still produced in China under the highest quality standards. Sigma guitars are very popular worldwide , both among beginners and experienced guitarists and professionals . There are even some collectors who specialize in Sigma guitars.
Well-crafted materials, fantastic playability and balanced, powerful sound. These properties can be attributed to SIGMA guitars without hesitation. No matter whether it's a dreadnought, OM or folk western guitar , Sigma offers the highest quality and best sound in all variations.
