Product information
The intention of the Selmer Reference 36 tenor saxophone is based on the Vintage horn balanced action, built between 1936 and 1947. The round, full and centered sound is particularly enriching for jazz saxophonists. The saxophone fits well in the hand, responds very cleanly and has excellent intonation. The sound is slightly dark, very voluminous and powerful and really leaves nothing to be desired. Made from a brass alloy with a high copper content, the Reference saxophones have a pitch range up to high F sharp, are equipped with blue pointed needle springs, real cork, black felt and pads with brown plastic resonators and have an adjustable metal thumb rest.
