Dirko Juchem has made a name for himself nationally and internationally as a saxophonist, saxophone teacher and specialist author for many years. His saxophone sound and his stylistic range are in demand: He played with well-known German and international artists such as Rolf Zuckowski, Barbara Dennerlein, Thomas Anders, Anne Haigis, Harald Juhnke, Pe Werner, Sara K., as well as with musicians from Jethro Tull , Jazzkantine or the Mike Oldfield Band. In addition to numerous concerts and productions with other artists and bands, he can also be heard again and again with his own programs - whether solo, in a duo or with a full band. To date, he has participated in more than 100 CD and LP productions and his tours have taken him to Los Angeles and Taiwan. As a saxophone teacher, he has taught at various music schools and as a guest lecturer at the Federal Academy in Remscheid and therefore knows first-hand the problems that beginners face.
