Roger Sadowsky made it his purpose to further improve an already very successful bass design by making a number of detailed improvements. Together with the electronics he developed, he managed to take the well-known J-Bass sound to a new level , so that today one can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: never harsh-sounding, with deep, defined, never dull bass , present but not intrusive mids as well as sweet and airy highs. All features of this modern bass sounds can also be found in the 21-Fret Vintage J/J basses from the MetroExpress series. All basses weight around 3.8 kg and are therefore also interesting for bassists who are looking for a lightweight solution for the stage in addition to a modern bass sound . This version of the Sadowsky Hybrid P/J Bass in a high-gloss Tobacco Burst finish has a fretboard made of Morado - also known as Pau Ferro - and is equipped with a Parchment pickguard in this color combination.
