The VAD307 is an extremely compact kit that still maintains the distinctive V-Drums Acoustic Design aesthetic. With the same dimensions as the mid-range V-Drums set, it is perfect for use at home and on cramped stages. The flat shell save space and weight and give every drummer an immediately familiar playing feeling. The setup is completed by the double-braced stands with tom holders and cymbals arms, which also contribute to the overall acoustic impression.
The improved TD-17 module contributes to excellent playability with its diverse acoustic sounds . The innovations include more preset kits, expanded effects and connection to the Roland Cloud. Furthermore, the VAD307 has newly developed, thin crash and ride-cymbals with a natural playing feel and vibration behavior as well as extremely robust stands at a professional level.

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various music materials and studio technology on April 18, 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to come onto the market were the first rhythm machines from the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a significant influence on both techno and electro music, as well as hip hop scene. The JC-120 Jazz chorus guitar amplifier was also created in the mid-1970s, and both Andy Summers from The Police as well as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield from Metallica were audibly impressed by its ultra-clear sound in conjunction with the built-in chorus effect . Since then and to this day, Roland has continuously expanded its catalog with high-quality and interesting products in a wide variety of fields such as digital pianos, groove boxes, e-drums and synthesizers.
