Know-how
With us you not only get what you need - we also show you how it works! Go to the guides.

At least for the following Roland/ BOSS amplifiers:
- CUBE Street EX
- AC-33 Acoustic chorus
- AC-33-RW Acoustic chorus
- KC-220 keyboard amplifier
- BA-330 portable amplifier (although a separate PSB-12U or PSB-12U2 mains adapter is required for charging)
Roland has developed a rechargeable battery or a rechargeable power pack fits for the above-mentioned amps with the cryptic name BTY-NIMH/A. The one-piece construction / acoustic can be quickly and easily installed on the back of the amplifier, eliminating the hassle of handling multiple AA batteries. In addition, the BTY-NIMH/A enables twice the runtime compared to conventional batteries and ensures an almost identical output power and volume as with mains adapter operation. Small limitation: twice the running time can only be achieved when compared to eight AA NiMH batteries with a capacity of 2,450 mAH.
The actual runtime and power will of course vary slightly depending on the application . Nevertheless: Byebye battery, hello battery pack!
- Type: Replacement Battery
Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various music materials and studio technology on April 18, 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to come onto the market were the first rhythm machines from the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a significant influence on both techno and electro music, as well as hip hop scene. The JC-120 Jazz chorus guitar amplifier was also created in the mid-1970s, and both Andy Summers from The Police as well as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield from Metallica were audibly impressed by its ultra-clear sound in conjunction with the built-in chorus effect . Since then and to this day, Roland has continuously expanded its catalog with high-quality and interesting products in a wide variety of fields such as digital pianos, groove boxes, e-drums and synthesizers.
