Rode Microphones was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1967 and is a renowned manufacturer of microphones and accessories. Since the beginning of the 1990s, Rode have established themselves in the home recording and audio sectors with inexpensive microphones. The initial focus was on large diaphragm condenser microphones such as the Rode NT1-A , which has been on the market since 1995. Thanks to the outstanding price-performance ratio and low noise, it is one of the most successful models and is still used by many musicians as their first studio microphone and on numerous recordings. The Rode product portfolio was later expanded to include dynamic microphones and directional microphones and to this day there is at least one Rode microphone in most professional studios.
Of course, Rode Microphones remain in tune with the times and have paid particular attention to the (audio & microphone) needs of the digital age. With the Rode NT- USB and Rode NT- USB Mini they offer microphones with which high-quality sounding voice and vocal recordings can be produced directly via USB connection without an amplifier model . With the Rode Podcaster , PodMic and Procaster you can also find microphones specifically tailored to broadcast and podcasts. Rode are also represented in the video and camera microphone sector with the VideoMic Rycote , VideoMic Pro and VideoMic Me and are popular with many video creators and YouTubers. The small and practical Rode Lavalier clip-on microphones or the wireless Rode Wireless GO system are particularly suitable for interviews and presentations
Of course, you can also get accessories for your Rode microphone from us - from holders and clamps to pop filters and wind protection.
