With the Rockboard RPA100 Power Attenuator you can set your amplifier model to your favorite sound - including high gain and power amp distortion - and then reduce the volume level on the loudspeaker to a level that is acceptable for the stage or rehearsal room without changing the sound of the amp. Tube amplifiers in particular benefit enormously from this method of operation. With the Rockboard RPA 100 Power Attenuator you can "tame" amplifier model with an output power of up to 100 watts.
The choice of 4, 8 and 16 ohm connections means that your amp always sees the correct speaker impedance, regardless of what type of speakers are connected to the attenuator. This means you can even use the amp without loudspeaker and listen to the signal through headphones .
In addition, the RPA 100 Power Attenuator offers the possibility of forwarding the signal from the amplifier of your amp via DI OUT or LINE OUT to mixers or audio interface applications or to practice with the original sound of the amp via the headphone output .
