Point Source Audio 's series 8 microphones are offered in three different versions - headset , earworn and lavalier . Thanks to their cardioid pattern , they are perfect for feedback-sensitive applications such as live shows, loud environments or even studio applications.
The unique advantage of the cardioid headsets and earworn mics from the 8 series is the particularly small capsule , which does not have to be placed directly in front of the mouth like with many other cardioid microphones. Placing the inconspicuous miniature capsule in the corner of the mouth is completely sufficient. The models handle sound pressure levels of up to 135 dB , and the ultra-flexible, 360° bendable boom allows for perfect placement in any application.
The microphones are suitable for both language and singing and have proven themselves in professional applications such as theater, musicals, broadcast, conferences or live events.
The flexible neckband of the CR-8D offers easy handling; the boom can be worn either on the left or on the right without complicated modifications to the headset . The high formability of the boom ensures the best positioning at the sound source and a long life cycle.
All microphones are offered with the X-Connector , which allows easy and reliable adaptation to the most common bodypack transmitters . These X-Connector connections offer a gridded screw connection so that they are easy to attach and open again but fit reliably and do not come loose on their own.
