The PPC212 has a closed 2×12″ enclosure that is the same width as the PPC412. Equipped with two Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the PPC212 is essentially a classic 4×12 box reduced in half. The large interior volume of the closed housing makes the PPC212 perfect for players who are looking for the fattest possible tone when a 4×12″ would be too big. Many players choose to stack two PPC212 boxes to make loading easier, which also gives them the flexibility to use just one box for smaller gigs. The PPC212 is manufactured in England from high density 13-ply 18mm birch plywood and is fitted with steel fittings to withstand harsh road conditions. Orange's unique skids on the bottom of the box help to acoustically connect it to the stage for fuller low-frequency reproduction.
