Building on the overwhelming success of the acclaimed Dark Terror and Dual Dark amplifier, Orange has fulfilled thousands of customer requests with a tiny tube hybrid head - the Micro Dark. With the optional PPC108 box, the Micro is an ideal training device. However, if you connect a slightly larger speaker, you could find your new secret weapon in the studio!
The Micro Dark features the same intuitive shape controls, combined with a new ECC83 (12AX7)-controlled high- gain preamp section that delivers screamingly dirty tones that go far beyond its small frame . However, like its larger brothers, the Micro Dark's smoke-black enclosure and simple layout hide its sophisticated engineering and versatility. Of course, there's plenty of gain to satisfy even the most demanding distortion aficionado, but this little beast is by no means just a one-trick metal Monster! Behind the menacing exterior lies a diverse range of stylish and unique sounds. From sparkling cleans to bold and downright mean distortion sounds - whatever your style - you'll love the Orange Micro Dark. Other features include a transparent effects loop and a headphone output with the popular Orange CabSim circuit.
