The Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Signature in detail
About Orianthi Panagaris
The Australian with Greek roots learned to play the guitar at the age of six and was playing the electric guitar at the age of eleven. In 2003, at the age of 18, she was discovered by Carlos Santana when she was allowed to play at his sound check. Afterwards he even brought her on stage at the following performance. Appearances with Prince and ZZ Top followed, among others, and she was part of the opening act on Steve Vai's world tour in 2007. That same year, she released her debut album Violet Journey and became the youngest guitarist to perform at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival. Orianthi achieved her international breakthrough in 2009 when she first accompanied Carrie Underwood at the Grammys and was then chosen by Michael Jackson to be the backing band for his farewell concerts. Their second album Believe and the single According to You were successful in the USA and Australia. She played in Alice Cooper's touring band from 2011 to 2014. In 2014 she was inducted into the South Australian Music Hall Of Fame. From 2014 to 2018 she played in Richie Sambora's band and recorded a studio album with him under the project name RSO.
