The Nux Verb Core Deluxe is a reverb pedal with eight different impressive reverb sounds, including Room, Hall, Plate, Damp, Shim, Spring, Tre-Verb and Mod Verb. You can easily change the reverb type using the Type button. Select controls .
The Room reverb simulates a smaller acoustic space. In such a room, many reflections are absorbed by soft materials, and the sound is reflected only by the walls (covered with wallpaper), the windows and perhaps some furniture. This type of reverb is therefore similar to the normal ambience we are used to hearing in the real world.
The Hall mode is based on the legendary Lexicon 224, which came onto the market in 1978. Its famously lush reverb tail shaped the sound of an entire era. This offers a full reverb sound with a warm, organic decay.
The plate reverb was inspired by the EMT 140 - a reverb device based on a metal plate suspended in a steel frame. This can be used to recreate the reverberation of an acoustic room; but with a certain nuance that represents a now classic sound from the early days of pop music.
The damp reverb sounds huge and endless, warm and natural.
The shim/shimmer sound shifts the reverb up an octave in each feedback loop. This creates a supernatural, almost spacey sound. This is a unique effect that offers some interesting and experimental sounds .
The Spring mode simulates the liquid, drop-like sound character that is created in a spring reverb system by generating a mechanical vibration. The Spring reverb is the classic sound for surf music or rockabilly!
Tre-Verb (tremolo Verb) combines tremolo and spring reverb, like a Vintage tube amp. This sound features a warm tremolo and spring reverb atmosphere that fills the sound with classic depth and dimension.
Mod-Verb (Modulation Verb) combines a large-scale chorus sound with a lush, atmospheric damp sound.
