The NUX ACE of TONE is a dual overdrive pedal that combines the Tubeman MKII and Morning Star 2 classic overdrive circuits in a compact enclosure . The Tubeman circuit has been optimized for more clarity and gain than the classic model. In addition, the Tubeman side has a FAT mode that can be activated simply by holding down the footswitch. It provides more bass reproduction and makes the sound warmer. The Morning Star side is based on the legendary Bluesbreaker circuit and offers the typical transparent, low- gain drive. The switchable SHINE mode boosts the treble range for a crystal-clear sound that never becomes too intrusive. The equipment is completed by versatile routing with an order from MS->TM or TM->MS that can be switched using a toggle switch. The bypass mode can also be switchable from true bypass to buffer bypass . The internal 18V mode enables an even greater dynamic range.
