The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a highly developed, extremely powerful and smart premium class column PA system with particularly superior audio qualities. It delivers a big, powerful and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak), which impresses in all applications: as a main PA for singers/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ plus formations or as a Sound system at weddings, company celebrations and other events.
The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts to the user's preferences via Easy or Expert mode. The user decides whether he prefers, for example, intuitive 3-band EQs or a 5-fold fully parametric system. A comprehensive effect section provides the full range of reverb, delay and dynamics processing options. All mixer and effect settings can be controlled wirelessly via the app.
For stereo applications, two MAUI 28 G3 MIX can be linked via SysLink®. In this case, twice the quantity of mixer channels are available, and with the help of the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system .
With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 MIX looks particularly harmonious. The two aluminum column elements in the MAUI G3 series are located at the front rim of the subwoofer, which further reinforces the seamless visual impression. There are 12 x 3.5'' midrange drivers in the columns, which, in combination with the innovative Phase plug design and the 2 x 1'' tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal radiation. In addition, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters transports the high frequencies to the rear audience areas.
The developer's hand was also placed at the crossover point, the transition between midrange and high-frequency speakers, in order to reduce harmonic distortions and cancellations and to make the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: particularly precise imaging of vocals and instruments over the entire 120° x 30° radiation range.
The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid loudspeaker . This ensures controlled low mids at the front and damper of up to 18 dB at the rear as well as a clean stage sound field.
With its larger 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports, the audibly more powerful subwoofer reproduces basses down to 37 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be amplified by 6 dB and converted to cardioid at the push of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer can easily withstand even the toughest configuration on the road.
The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a real sound machine, but also impresses with its practical features in the everyday life of solo entertainers, singers/songwriters or small bands. Transport is as easy as usual, and the improved, invisible connectors between the elements offer increased stability during assembly - the MAUI can't upset anything so easily...
