For the first time, a KORG entertainer flagship comes in three keyboard versions. All keyboards have aftertouch, the 88-key model also has a hammer action for the best piano playing feel. Unique and only in the Pa5X/Pa5X MUSIKANT : two completely independent players that can now play styles, midifiles and mp3 files - no matter the combination! This means it is now possible to mix two styles or even play them synchronously. New in this context is the “Smooth sound Transition” function , which ensures that no more notes or effects are cut off when switching or crossfading.

The KORG Pa5X/Pa5X MUSIKANT with its completely newly developed sound engine and user interface has a user interface that is easier and better to use:
logical color codes, large displays and buttons, photo-quality icons, clear graphics, thousands of inspiring sounds and vibrant styles for almost every music genre. Acoustic and electric pianos come from the KORG SV2 stage piano, synth sounds come from the NAUTILUS, wavestate, ARP2600, for example. A special round-robin function ensures ultra-authentic and lively drum sounds.

Compared to the Pa5X (international), the Pa5X MUSIKANT is the localized version for the German-speaking market and BeNeLux. It contains even more styles and sounds that were programmed and produced specifically for the local culture: acapella and party choirs, accordion and orchestra sounds and much more. In addition, operation is made easier by labels in language on the finish and in many menus .

The Pa5X keyboards are manufactured to a high quality with an elegant look, wooden side panels nestle against a sturdy aluminum housing. Real-time control is very easy thanks to the additional strip display , because the respective value or function of the switches and faders are always displayed directly. Loading processes are a thing of the past, all files and styles are available at the touch of a finger, regardless of the connected medium on which they are stored. An open storage structure allows virtually infinitely large user folders, which can fit as much as the up to 1TB SD memory card (optional) allows. The new update adds a variety of new features to the Professional Arranger Workstation.
