For the anniversary, the microKORG shines crystal clear in a futuristic skeleton look and looks more modern than ever thanks to the transparent fresh cell treatment!
The key data of the Korg microKORG Crystal
The recipe for success for the 20th anniversary of the cult synthesizer with its 37 velocity-sensitive mini keys remains largely unchanged. What's new is the crystal design, which offers deep insights into the otherwise hidden technology. This unique look is rounded off by a mirror-look control panel and high-quality aluminum side panels. To further enhance the “futuristic” look of the synthesizer, the internal circuit boards were designed in color / finish exclusively for this special model.
As usual, the virtual analogue sound generation of the original is on the circuit boards. The 4-voice polyphony can be creatively shaped using the semi-transparent knobs as well as pitch bend and mod wheels and used bitimbrally to create layered sounds . Of course, the microKORG in Crystal design is equipped with the versatile 8-band vocoder including a gooseneck condenser microphone.

The well-known 2 oscillators plus noise generator, 2 envelopes, 2 LFOs as well as virtual analogue multimode filter (24dB low pass, 12dB low/high/band pass) are available for all creative deformations. Integrated effects, a virtual patchbay with 4 slots and a versatile arpeggiator round off the internal features.

The microKORG Crystal is delivered with an exclusive, also transparent vinyl carrying case with a printed Korg logo. This means you are well prepared when you are on the go, because the microKORG can be powered not only via the included mains adapter, but also via six AA batteries (not including).

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and musical accessories. Among musicians, the company is often simply referred to as Korg . The company was founded on August 28, 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai . The almost 300 employees at Korg INC are mainly involved in the production and marketing of synthesizers and samplers, drum computers and sound modules, keyboards and e-pianos but also USB controllers, e-drums and useful little helpers for guitarists.
