During the test phase for the new Thomas Blug Signature guitar, Thomas also tried out my new Real 65 set in a prototype. Completely enthusiastic about this typical mid-60s sound , the Strat Maestro combined the neck and bridge pickup together with the tried and tested replica of the 1966 middle pickup (RwrP) from the first Blug set as the new ST Blug II for his new project. The ST Blug II was personally tasted again and described by Thomas as follows: “My typical Stratocaster neck pickup sound harmonizes perfectly with the beautifully mild bridge pickup and these wonderfully pearly intermediate sounds are created in the 2 & 4 positions!”including mounting screws, mounting hose, sufficient Cloth-Wire cable for the internal wiring and a matching capacitor for the tone potentiometer.
