Improved speaker drivers
Newly designed custom mid-woofers not only provide more volume and definition in the bass range, but also improve clarity
and articulation. Thanks to the lighter and stiffer moving mass, the MKII mid-woofers reproduce every little detail in the midrange
and enable an improved and more critical listening experience, ultimately leading to a faster and more accurate mix workflow.
Improved off- axis and in-room radiation
Controlled vertical dispersion is one of the key factors of the original iLoud MTM construction / acoustic.
This has been retained in the MKII to minimize unwanted interactions that can occur with non-acoustically treated ceilings or tables.
However, the horizontal dispersion of the MKII has been significantly improved, resulting in a wider sweet spot and a smoother frequency response in the room.
Improved power efficiency and SPL
The entire power management of the speaker has been improved. This makes iLoud MTM
MKII is able to deliver a higher maximum sound pressure level compared to its predecessor.
Higher integrated processing power, improved DSP
The integrated processing power has been almost doubled compared to the original iLoud MTM.
The loudspeaker now operates at 96 kHz, the entire DSP processing works with greater precision and delivers more transparency and resolution, the ARC
Correction is now directly derived from the Precision series and supports virtual X-Monitor voicing.
