Product information

The Ibanez SRMS806-DTW is a 6-string multiscale bass with Bartolini BH2 pickup and burl poplar top in the beautiful Deep Twilight finish. The traditional Japanese company has once again put its money where its mouth is and has brought a state-of-the-art new bass onto the market.

The SRMS806-DTW impresses with modern technical details: The MR6S bridge has adjustable saddles for a variable string spacing of +/- 1.5 mm and can therefore also meet the very specific requirements of a bass player. The Bartolini BH2 pickup offer a tight bottom end, punchy mids and a smooth response. The dual coil configuration maximizes articulation and a long bladed pole piece expands the magnetic field and provides a balanced response from string to string of the pickup. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ is the latest refinement of the concept of simple, straightforward and straightforward EQ control from the house of Ibanez.

The balanced tension of the multiscale design contributes to a more "lively", open tone. But the design also improves gaming comfort. The multi- scale length construction / acoustic is ergonomically tailored to the way the player's hand angles on the neck as it moves up and down, allowing for faster, more comfortable play. This comfort is supported by a 5-piece neck made of jatoba and walnut wood. The Panga Panga fretboard features a beautiful wood grain that produces a crisp low and mid range as well as a strong attack in the high range.

About Ibanez

The Japanese instrument manufacturer Ibanez can look back on a long tradition in guitar and bass building. While Ibanez initially stood out with idiosyncratic copies of traditional models from manufacturers such as Gibson and Fender , independent series gradually came onto the market, such as the Iceman, JEM, Artcore and RG. In the 1980s, the manufacturer made a name for itself, especially in the heavy sector, with its instruments that shone with modern features, individual design and excellent playability. Innovations such as the 7- and 8-string guitars, which emerged from the fruitful collaboration with artists such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Meshuggah, did the rest to establish Ibanez 's good reputation. Today the manufacturer offers an extensive range, ranging from entry-level guitars and basses to unusual custom shop models. Ibanez also knows how to impress when it comes to effects devices and amplifier model , as the classic TS9 Tubescreamer proves. With us you will find a comprehensive selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects and accessories from Ibanez.
