The Ibanez LB1 in detail
About Lari Basilio
Lari Basilio is a Brazilian instrumental guitarist. In 2011, Lari began working on her five-track instrumental EP, simply called Lari Basilio, which also features Felipe Andreoli, bassist of the popular Brazilian band Angra. Her second work, the CD and DVD "The sound of My Room", was released in August 2015 and was even shown in cinemas in Lari's home country of Brazil. The 10-song package includes a mini-documentary and behind-the-scenes material on the DVD. Lari won the instrumental catagory of the Samsung E-Festival in 2014 and performed in front of 15,000 spectators alongside Keb' Mo' and Quinn Sullivan at the Samsung Best of Blues Festival in Brazil. No fan should miss the online video of her jam with Steve Vai. Many feel that Lari took the instrumental electric guitar in a new direction. In this video you will get an impression of Lari's technically demanding, yet melodic playing technique.
The all-in-one guitar
The Ibanez LB1 is based on Ibanez 's classic AZ models and features an ash body and a roasted maple neck . The S-TECH special roasting increases the stability, durability, water resistance and resistance of the wood to temperature fluctuations. The neck is sealed with an oil finish which helps give it a similar feel as if it was already played in. Lari's pickup set by Seymour Duncan consists of three pickups, each of which is unique but also combines to form a perfect combination. The neck pickup provides a Vintage tone with plenty of fullness and presence, while the middle pickup offers significantly more tonal options. The humbucker has been tuned to be versatile and balanced, offering a wide range of sounds from clean to high gain . The dyna-MIX 9 offers nine sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single-coil mode with a single movement. One mode even simulates a humbucker sound from the combination of two single-coil pickups.

The Japanese instrument manufacturer Ibanez can look back on a long tradition in guitar and bass building. While Ibanez initially stood out with idiosyncratic copies of traditional models from manufacturers such as Gibson and Fender , independent series gradually came onto the market, such as the Iceman, JEM, Artcore and RG. In the 1980s, the manufacturer made a name for itself, especially in the heavy sector, with its instruments that shone with modern features, individual design and excellent playability. Innovations such as the 7- and 8-string guitars, which emerged from the fruitful collaboration with artists such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Meshuggah, did the rest to establish Ibanez 's good reputation. Today the manufacturer offers an extensive range, ranging from entry-level guitars and basses to unusual custom shop models. Ibanez also knows how to impress when it comes to effects devices and amplifier model , as the classic TS9 Tubescreamer proves. With us you will find a comprehensive selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects and accessories from Ibanez.
