The beginning of a success story
The Ibanez AT100 was first built in 1999 in a limited edition of 175 pieces. After a short break as an endorser, Ibanez announced its renewed collaboration with Andy Timmons at the end of 2008. The Ibanez AT-100 has been produced in unlimited quantities since 2009. Since then, several variations of the original model have been brought onto the market that had different pickup or covered a different price range and enjoyed great popularity. However, the ATZ100-SBT, along with the AT100, is the highest quality among the Ibanez Andy Timmons models.
construction / acoustic and features
The Ibanez ATZ100 impresses with a roasted maple neck. The special S-TECH roasting ensures an excellent response, a balanced tone and a rich sustain. In order to achieve maximum grip comfort on the neck , the fingerboard edge has been slightly rounded. The oil-impregnated bone nut ensures excellent tuning stability and warm, rich resonance. The stainless steel frets offer excellent corrosion resistance. The wide and high fret provides a quick response, good articulation when playing chords and a clear tone when playing single notes. The combination of DiMarzio The Cruiser pickups that Andy Timmons loves delivers a single-coil tone with open, vocal-sounding mids and a little more punch in the bass.
The VSVG tremolo from Wilkinson- Gotoh is characterized by a smooth arm action. The unique design of the extended screw holes in the base plate ensures precise pitch reproduction and prevents jamming. The lockable curved steel saddles provide a Vintage tone and feel.

The Japanese instrument manufacturer Ibanez can look back on a long tradition in guitar and bass building. While Ibanez initially stood out with idiosyncratic copies of traditional models from manufacturers such as Gibson and Fender , independent series gradually came onto the market, such as the Iceman, JEM, Artcore and RG. In the 1980s, the manufacturer made a name for itself, especially in the heavy sector, with its instruments that shone with modern features, individual design and excellent playability. Innovations such as the 7- and 8-string guitars, which emerged from the fruitful collaboration with artists such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Meshuggah, did the rest to establish Ibanez 's good reputation. Today the manufacturer offers an extensive range, ranging from entry-level guitars and basses to unusual custom shop models. Ibanez also knows how to impress when it comes to effects devices and amplifier model , as the classic TS9 Tubescreamer proves. With us you will find a comprehensive selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects and accessories from Ibanez.
