Die Hanika Crossover PSS ist eine hochwertige KLassikgitarre mit Udo Roesner-Tonabnehmer, Boden und Zargen gefertigt aus geflammter Thermo-Riegelnuss in Composite-Technik und einer leicht gewölbten Fichtendecke mit Torres-Beleistung. Der mit Grenadill verstärkte Thermo-Erlenhals hat eine 64 cm Mensur, 50 mm Obersattelbreite und ein leicht gewölbtes Griffbrett mit 30-Zoll-Radius. Dieses Modell ist mit Hanikas neuem FusionCut ausgestattet, welcher mit einem sehr flachen Stöckchen nahtlos in den zur Bodenseite aufgedrehten Cutaway übergeht.
Bei der Entwicklung wurde Wert darauf gelegt, eine besonders leicht spielbare Nylonsaitengitarre für den Crossover-Gitarristen zu bauen. Darüber hinaus kann sie akustisch mit guter Ansprache, einem warmen Nylonton und der Möglichkeit, viele Klangfarben zu bilden, überzeugen. Eingebaut in dieses Instrument ist ein, von Udo Rösner neu entwickelter passiver Piezo-Tonabnehmer unter dem Stegsattel und eine 6,3 mm Stereo-Klinkenbuchse am Zargenstoß/Unterklotz der Gitarre.
