The success story began in 1968 with a self-made amplifier model and the then unknown guitarist Carlos Santana, who took the first Gallien-Krueger amp to the Woodstock Festival the following year. To date, company founder and mastermind Robert Gallien has designed and brought numerous high-quality, innovative and legendary bass amplifiers to market. However, he never focused on other products or let himself be dissuaded from his vision in any other way, but always looked for his own, better solutions.
“I have never seen the point in doing things the way others have done them. I also have not been very interested in following the latest fad.”
– Robert Gaul
