With its shorter scale length and small offset body, the Fender Mustang Bass, which premiered in the 1960s, was actually intended for students. However, due to his unusual and eye-catching look, he has now also made a name for himself on the big stages. Today, the Mustang bass is primarily present in the alternative pop and rock sector and enjoys great popularity and a growing fan base.
The Vintera II 70s Mustang features an alder body and maple neck with a rosewood fretboard for a classic Fender tone that's full of punch and clarity. The C-shaped neck is based on a classic '70s profile for an intuitive and inviting feel, while the 7.25" radius slab board features Vintage-style high frets for comfort and plenty of room for wide bends and expressive vibratos ensures. The Vintage'70s-style single-coil pickups deliver the crisp, warm and woody tone that made Fender famous.
