Product information

The charm of Vintage instruments is undeniable. For decades, players around the globe have been captivated by the charm, feel and mojo of early Fender creations from the "golden" years - the '50s, '60s and '70s. The refresh of the Vintera II series offers players around the world an easier way to experience that Vintage vibe.

The Fender Telecaster was the first series produced solid body electric guitar. The first prototype was completed in 1949 under the name Esquire, and in 1951 the first Telecaster, then called Broadcaster, came onto the market. The Telecaster was revised at the end of the 1950s and appeared in the 1960s with an alder body and a rosewood fretboard .
The Fender Vintera II 60s Telecaster RW SNB features an alder body and maple neck with a rosewood fretboard for a classic Fender tone that's full of punch and transparency. The Early '60s "C" form neck is based on a classic '60s profile that feels intuitive and inviting, while the 7.25" radius fretboard features Vintage-style high frets for comfort and ample room for expansion Bends and expressive vibratos. The amplified sound is provided by two Vintage-style pickups from the 60s, which deliver the crystal-clear sound and the raw, steely twang that made Fender famous. The 3-saddle bridge in Vintage style with Honed steel saddles provide authentic 60s twang, while the Vintage tuners provide a classic look with a finer gear ratio and improved tuning stability, completing the package. Fender Vintera II 60s Telecaster is available in Fiesta Red and Sonic Blue.
