Product information

The charm of Vintage instruments is undeniable. For decades, players around the globe have been captivated by the charm, feel and mojo of early Fender creations from the "golden" years - the '50s, '60s and '70s. The refresh of the Vintera II series offers players around the world an easier way to experience that Vintage vibe.

The Fender Telecaster was the first series produced solid body electric guitar. The first prototype was completed in 1949 under the name Esquire, and in 1951 the first Telecaster, then called Broadcaster, came onto the market. However, due to a legal dispute with the Gretsch company, which also had a guitar model called Broadkaster, the guitar had to be renamed at short notice and the name removed from the headstock, which earned the model the nickname “Nocaster”.
The Fender Vintera II 50s Nocaster MN BGB is based on this guitar. It combines an alder body with a maple neck with a strong early '50s thick "U"neck profile, which is perfect for large hands. This combination provides a lot of punch, as you would expect from a Telecaster. True to the original from the 50s, the fretboard has a 7.25" radius and the Vintage tall frets known as "spaghetti frets ". It offers enough space for wide bends and expressive vibrato sounds. A pair of Fender Vintage- Style '50s Single-Coil Tele Pickups enhances the punchy sound of the wood and adds the famous Tele twang. The Vintage -style 3-saddle bridge with brass saddles ensures an authentic '50s sound while the Vintage tuning machines provide a classic look with a finer gear ratio and improved tuning stability and round off the package. This model is available in the classic colors Blackguard Blonde and 2-Tone Sunburst, each with a historically correct, single-layer pickguard.
