About Susan Tedeschi

Her musical career as a solo artist and with the Tedeschi Trucks Band, in which she performs on stage with her husband Dereck Trucks, demonstrates her skills as a singer and guitarist.
You don't play the blues with your hands, but with your soul. Susan is a master of this art. She is an award-winning American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. Her expressive voice and soulful guitar playing were already evident at the tender age of 13 when she formed her first band. She gained international fame as the frontwoman and guitarist of the Grammy Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Susan's trademark
When designing the Susan Tedeschi Telecaster, Fender took inspiration from Susan's favourite Telecaster. Her signature model is based on the instantly recognisable American Standard Tele in a beautiful Caribbean Mist finish from 1993, which has been Susan's favourite guitar since she first picked it up. The instrument has become Susan's trademark over the last 25 years, even gracing the cover of her album Just Won't Burn, and has a very special place in Susan's guitar collection.
