The Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS has a modern ‘C’ neck profile with a satin urethane finish on the back and a comfortable 9.5" radius rosewood or one-piece maple fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body offers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of exciting new finishes.
With a humbucker in the bridge position, the Fender Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS is a classic guitar with a focus on modern guitarists. The articulated Player II Modified humbucker offers plenty of power, while the Noiseless pickups deliver the classic Strat sound and spunk while eliminating unwanted noise.
For added tonal flexibility, the push/pull switch on the 2nd tone control splits the bridge humbucker for classic Strat single-coil tones. The 2-point tremolo, the short post locking tuners, the TUSQ saddle and the modern string tree ensure incredibly stable tuning, while the longer stroke of the bevelled tremolo block allows you to elicit an even more expressive, musical vibrato from your instrument.
