An HSS Stratocaster according to our ideas
Together with the Fender custom shop , we designed a Stratocaster that is particularly noticeable due to its neck profile and the humbucker on the bridge . Olli was in charge of the detailed planning with his decades of experience and instinct for the right specifications.
Our Fender Dealer Select 1959 Stratocaster series is available in six different model variants. All instruments have an HSS equipped with an EVH 78 Zebra Aged humbucker on the bridge, a Handwound Fat 50s Relic in the middle position and the Handwound 59 pickup on the neck. Of course, all pickups come from the Fender custom shop . The 5-way toggle switch switches using modern auto-split-wiring electronics.
The 60s Custom 10/56 neck profile we chose with its 9.50 to 12.0 inch compound radius is easy to grip. Access to the truss rod is convenient via the headstock. This eliminates the need to dismantle the neck when correcting the neck curvature. Open Fender Vintage style tuning machines and a bone saddle adorn the relicted headstock.
Three models each come with a Rosewood (RW) fretboard or a Maple (MN) type. In addition to the classic color variants Two-Tone-Sunbrust (2TS), Three-Tone-Sunburst (3TS), White-Blonde (WBL) and Olympic-White (OWT), our 1959 Strats also come in chic black (BLK) or striking candy -Apple Red (CAR) - Olli's favorite color. All electric guitars are equipped with the Fender American Vintage Synchronized tremolo on six individual saddles. The tremolo lever comes with it, of course.
