The Fender American Ultra II Precision Bass has a body made of selected alder with curved body contours. For effortless playability, the maple neck features Fender's Modern D profile and a smooth Ultra Satin finish. The 10"-14" compound fingerboards made of ebony or maple are equipped with Ultra Rolled Edges, medium jumbo frets, Luminlay Side Dots and Graph Tech TUSQ nuts. The tapered neck heel and the curved contours of the body provide excellent access to the higher registers, while access to the truss rod on the headstock allows for convenient and easy adjustment.
Fitted with a set of specially designed Ultra II Noiseless Vintage pickups, this bass offers a huge tonal palette, from vintage warmth to modern snap, all without a hint of hum. The redesigned preamp offers unprecedented control options to open up endless tonal options. Key features include S-1 switching for active/passive operation, passive tone control and active 3-band EQ with switchable centre frequency. Other road-ready features include an adjustable HiMass™ top-load or string-through body bridge, Fender tuners, knurled aluminium knobs and a single-ply anodised aluminium pickguard.
