The Fender American Ultra II Meteora features a select alder body with curved body contours. For effortless playability, the neck is made of quartersawn maple with a Modern D profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish. The 10‘-14’ compound fingerboards made of ebony or maple are equipped with Ultra Rolled Edges, medium jumbo frets, Luminlay Side Dots and Graph Tech TUSQ saddles. The tapered neck heel and the curved contours of the body allow excellent access to the high registers.
A pair of Haymaker humbuckers delivers everything from sweet cleans to modern crunch and sharp leads, all without a hint of hum. Fender's patented S-1 switch splits the Haymakers for even more tonal variety, and the conventional master tone control and a carefully tuned bass cut knob let you further tweak your tone. Other road-ready features include a 6-saddle hardtail bridge with polished stainless steel block saddles, deluxe locking tuners, fluted aluminium knobs and a 1-ply anodised aluminium pickguard.
