The Fender American Ultra II Meteora Bass features a select alder body with curved body contours. For effortless playability, the maple neck features our Modern D profile and a smooth Ultra Satin finish. The 10‘-14’ compound ebony or maple fingerboards feature Ultra Rolled Edges, medium jumbo frets, Luminlay Side Dots and Graph Tech TUSQ nuts. The tapered neck heel and the curved contours of the body provide excellent access to the higher registers, while access to the truss rod on the headstock allows for convenient and easy adjustment.
Equipped with a set of custom-designed Fender Haymaker bass humbuckers, this bass offers a tremendous tonal palette with earth-shaking lows, punchy mids and sweet, articulate highs - all without a hint of hum. The redesigned preamp offers unprecedented control to unlock endless sonic options. Key features include S-1™ switching for active/passive operation, a passive tone control and an active 3-band EQ with switchable midrange frequency. Other road-ready features include an adjustable HiMass™ top-load or string-through body bridge, lightweight Fender tuners with tapered shafts, fluted aluminium controls and a 1-ply anodised aluminium pickguard.
