In the Aerodyne Special series we interpret traditional Fender design in a contemporary way. Emphatically slim, puristic, aerodynamic. With specially tuned pickups, state-of-the-art hardware, excitingly beautiful finishes and the unmistakable silhouettes of the classics. This combination creates instruments that are radically redesigned and yet feel instantly familiar.
The Aerodyne Special Telecaster has a basswood body in vibrant finishes with elegant binding and a matching headstock. The neck in the “Modern C” profile with a 12" fretboard radius is pleasantly relaxed to play with its satin finish . Newly developed Telecaster pickups with Vintage tuning and a Babicz Z-Series FCH-Tele® bridge give this high-performance instrument the sought-after real quality Fender tone.
The Aerodyne Special Telecaster is built in Japan. It inspires with futuristic style, premium details and superior sound. The classic basic shapes and shapes of our models, which have already accompanied several generations of musicians, get a whole new vibe in the Aerodyne Special series .
