In 2024, EVH will once again challenge the "standard" in Dachen electric guitars with the introduction of the new SA-126 Special, Wolfgang Van Halen's interpretation of what a modern guitar should be in the 21st century.
The SA-126 is the incarnation of innovation par excellence. It is a mix of semi-hollow and solid-body guitar: a solid mahogany body with chambering and center block, combined with a screw-on neck and equipped with features otherwise only known from high-performance guitars, such as a slim neck and jumbo frets and pickups with higher output. Conceived by Wolfgang Van Halen, the instrument was designed with versatility in mind, offering the perfect balancing between pounding rhythm sounds and lightning-fast lead lines.
The brand new SA-126 features a chambered mahogany body with a basswood center block for stability and tone. With a maple top and a 5-layer body binding, this guitar shines with its elegant, high-quality look. The graphite-reinforced mahogany neck features a 22- frets 12"-16" ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays on one. With a scale length of 24.75 inches, this guitar feels like a modern classic that's familiar and comfortable. A wheel at the end of the neck allows for easy and quick adjustment of the neck curvature.
Developed by Fender's in-house pickup designer Tim Shaw and the EVH team, the EVH SA-126 bridge and neck pickups can do pretty much anything you ask of them. From the elegant sound of cascading cleans to a hefty dose of overdrive and burn that will satisfy even the most demanding guitarist. A three-way toggle on the upper horn switches between bridge, bridge and neck and neck pickup and offers two volume and two tone controls. Additional features include an EVH harmonica bridge and a stop bar tailpiece, oversized strap buttons and keystone tuning machines.
The EVH SA-126 Special comes to you in an EVH SA-126 hardshell case covered in ivory vinyl and lined with blue crushed velvet interior.

Electric guitars from the master himself
Welcome to the world of EVH, the brand that represents the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen. Eddie Van Halen, known as one of the most influential guitarists of all time, has created EVH, a brand that reflects his innovative strength and his love of music. Eddie Van Halen stands not only for brilliant and epochal guitar solos, but also for the legendary instruments on which he presented his groundbreaking guitar playing.
Early in his career, he built his own guitars, such as the legendary Frankenstein. He later teamed up with Peavey to develop the groundbreaking 5150 guitar amp. A few years ago, Eddie entered into a cooperation with Fender, which resulted not only in the third version of the 5150 guitar amp, but also in various versions of his perfectly designed and crafted Wolfgang electric guitars.
