ENGL Amplification, Germany's leading manufacturer of tube electric guitar amplifiers since 1983, is very proud to announce the introduction of the ENGL E670FE Special edition Founders edition : The ultimate 100-watt all-tube high- gain amp.
The new E670FE is an updated version of Engl 's legendary E670 Special edition . The Special edition amplifier spent many years in the studios of Edmund Engl - the founder of ENGL Amps - and was played by many legendary professional guitarists, each with their own ideas and desires when it cover to sound and power . Over the years, Edmund Engl and senior designer Horst Langer have revised the Special edition several times, and now - in ENGL's 40th anniversary year - it is finally available for guitarists as an amplifier in ENGL's standard portfolio as the Founders edition .
Special look and tubes of your choice
The E670FE - in a black outfit with chrome buttons and red front panel lighting - has been redesigned but still has the resounding sound that made the previous Special edition iconic. The amplifier, which is equipped with five ECC83 pre amp valves and a choice of four 6L6 or four EL34 power amp valves , delivers a huge range of sounds across its five channels (Clean, Crunch, Lead I, Lead II and Tubedriver) and nine voicings, from crystal clear cleans to hot high gain distortion and everything in between. The numerous sound shaping options - from powerful EQs and separate gain controls for each channel to switches for gain Boost, Hi gain, Mid Shift, Contour, Bright, Mid Edge, Modern Classic, Mega Lo Punch and Depth Boost as well as an integrated reverb - make the E670FE one of the most versatile amps on the market. Perhaps the biggest highlight is the Tubedriver channel, which bypasses most of the amplifier internals, providing the purest circuitry and tube tones imaginable.

In addition, the E670FE, which is made in Germany according to the highest quality standards and only the best components and materials are used - offers a variety of practical features for the demanding modern guitarist who only accepts the best. The amplifier is midi programmable, allowing guitar players to save their favorite settings in up to 128 presets using an optional external midi controllers . There is also a noise gate that can be activated via a footswitch , a power tube monitor, three effects loops that can be switched in series/parallel, a line output and several cabinet output options on board.
