The Eastman AC622CE-KOA-LTD is a special edition of the modern AC622CE with a solid Koa body and flamed maple neck, limited to 300 pieces worldwide. Koa wood is particularly rare, so only dead wood can be salvaged and used. Koa features beautiful grain in a striking cream, reddish brown or even dark brown hue. It is a dense tropical hardwood that combines focus on the midrange with additional brilliance and richness in the upper range. Koa's sound profile combines the mids of mahogany with the highs of maple. Because of its density , a new koa guitar will initially sound a bit bright, similar to maple. But the more a Koa guitar is played, the more the sound opens up, expanding the midrange and rewarding the player with a richer, sweeter, and more resonant sound.
The ergonomic design of the Eastman AC622CE-KOA-LTD takes gaming pleasure to another level. The armrest made of grained maple allows for fatigue-free playing of the right hand, while the slightly stronger neck profile fits well in the left hand without feeling too fat. The side sound hole allows you to hear your guitar playing better and gives you a perfect impression of how the guitar sounds to your audience.
With the integrated LR Baggs Element EAS VTC pickup system, you are also well equipped for your next live performance. The Eastman AC622CE-KOA-LTD is delivered in an elegant hard-shell case and is perfectly protected during transport to the next gig.

The guitar manufacturer Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni from Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and basses. Since traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the manufactory quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars .
These are created with the same craftsmanship and precise workmanship as the string instruments, which definitely makes the semi-acoustic models an absolute recommendation for all jazz and blues guitarists who are looking for a new instrument . The semi-acoustic guitars are available in thinline , archtop and even signature archtop model . Depending on your preference, you can then choose between All Solid Carved, Solid Carved Top and Laminate models .
The situation is similar with the high-quality solid-body guitars in the LP style. These are also divided into three levels. A distinction is made here between guitars with Antique Varnish, Truetone Gloss and Truetone Vintage Gloss finishes , whereby the Antique Varnish finish is based on violin making and ensures a full, open and resonant sound .
Fans of the acoustic guitar group can look forward to the largest selection from Eastman Guitars .
In addition to the many different guitar shapes such as Dreadnought, Grand Auditorium, Orchestra and Jumbo or OO, Parlor, Travel and other exotic ones such as Cabaret and Gypsy Jazz , the West guitars also differ in their processing levels and finishes. The most popular here include the Traditional, AC and Antique Varnish series .
No matter which instrument you ultimately choose from the guitar manufacturer Eastman Guitars , you will receive a high-quality piece of craftsmanship that is made from fine wood and impresses with an excellent sound .
