With the Gold Series, Cort introduces an all-solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated (“torrified”) tops and bracing. Cort calls this process “Aged To Vintage”, which imitates the ageing process of the top over the decades. Right from the start, you get that wonderfully full, overtone-rich and balanced sound that you know from old, well-recorded instruments. The very thin UV varnish of the Gold Series supports the excellent vibration characteristics of the guitar. In addition, the “Doublelock Neckjoint” was developed as a further important element for the best possible sound, which improves vibration transmission by means of additional bolting of the neck to the body.
