Available in 88- or 73-key versions, it features a premium triple sensor hammer action keyboard that captures every nuance of your playing - from delicate pianissimo to full forte. The new panel structure with LED faders ensures maximum overview and makes handling on stage or in the studio even more intuitive.
But that's just the beginning: with the dual-layer architecture for piano and synth, you can effortlessly switch between the legendary Nord sounds or layer them - with independent effects for each section. Sample Synth Section
Versatile sample synth with two independent layers
The sample synth of the Nord Piano 6 offers two independent layers and an extensive selection of new and reworked sounds - from strings, winds and basses to classic analog leads and vintage basses. The Factory Library contains exclusive high-end samples from the renowned Spitfire, Symphobia and Swing libraries. Each layer is equipped with intuitive controls for attack, decay/sustain, release and dynamic attack response, allowing you to flexibly shape sounds.
Additional features such as Unison (for rich, polyphonic sounds), Tru-Vibrato (the authentic vibrato of acoustic instruments) and Round-Robin (for natural variations on repeated notes) make the sample synth even more lively and realistic.

Clavia is a Swedish electronic musical instrument manufacturer based in Stockholm, founded in 1983 by Hans Nordelius. After initially producing drum machine and electronic drum sets , Clavia has relied on keyboard instruments such as stage pianos and synthesizers since the release of the Nord Lead in 1995. Clavia instruments are valued not only for their sound quality, but also for their solid workmanship and long model maintenance.
The Nord Lead and Nord Wave are virtual analog synthesizers, the latter being sample-based . The Nord Stage is a stage piano that, in addition to a synthesizer section, also has first-class emulations of well-known pianos , organs and other keyboard instruments such as the Hammond B3, Vox Continental, Fender Rhodes or Wurlitzer .
The Nord Electro is a stripped-down version of the Nord Stage that does without the synthesizer section. With the Nord Piano 5, Clavia is bringing a new stage piano onto the market, which is particularly aimed at piano players with its remarkably realistic keyboard . The Clavia Nord stage pianos are available with 73, 76 or 88 keys . Thanks to the Nord sound Library, the sounds of all current Nord instruments can be exchanged freely and freely.
