The Bourgeois Guitars Aged Tone The Standard Slope-D is a real top choice if you are looking for a well-sounding slope shoulder dreadnought with a classic look. The classic tonewood pairing of spruce top and mahogany bottom and sides ensures a woody, balanced sound. The top made of American red spruce (Adirondack spruce) contributes to a voluminous sound and has a faster response than you are used to with a Sitka spruce top, for example. The Full Aged Tone Package is a wafer-thin nitro finish that does not restrict the wood when vibrating and so the instrument produces a free, floating and clear sound . Due to the aging process, the sound of the Bourgeois Guitars Aged Tone The Standard Slope-D appears as if the guitar had been played for decades. The Vintage feeling is perfectly rounded off by the simple design, the herringbone binding and the Vintage-style tuning machines . About Bourgeois Guitars
The Bourgeois Guitars company is known for the handcrafted production of top-class acoustic guitars. All instruments belong to the absolute premium segment. Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 after developing a passion for learning and building quality guitars while studying at Bowdoin College in Maine. He built his own guitars in the early 1970s and opened a small shop in Maine in 1977 where he worked as a guitar maker and repairer.
Over the years, Bourgeois Guitars has earned an excellent reputation because the company places great value on true craftsmanship and excellent sound. Only first-class and carefully selected materials are used for the instruments, because quality always comes first. The brand also impresses with its diversity, so guitarists have many different models to choose from, including dreadnoughts, OM models, jumbos and more. Bourgeois guitars are not just acoustic guitars, but lovingly crafted works of art.
