Continuing the legacy of the St. James series, the St. James 100 is the world's lightest 100W 2x12’ tube combo, and one of the most ambitious projects BLACKSTAR has developed in recent years to achieve unrivalled performance in the tube amplifier arena. The St James 100 has a number of innovative and unique features that set it apart from the competition. For example, the amplifier is equipped with two different power tubes: 2x6L6 and 2xEL34. A switch on the front panel can be used to switch between the tubes in 50W mode or to combine all four tubes for a power output of 100W, offering unrivalled versatility in sound. The St. James 100 also has a ‘Cut’ selector switch. This three-position PAF selector switch can be used to tune the amplifier's high frequencies, from an aggressive high-end to a warm vintage sound. In addition, the St. James 100 has a built-in reactive load, a switchable effects loop and an adjustable solo boost from +2 to +6 dB, which can be activated via the supplied 6-way footswitch. The combo is equipped with 2 x 12’ Celestion Zephyr loudspeakers.
