The Polar 2 from BLACKSTAR is a two-channel audio interface designed specifically for guitarists. As the only audio interface on the market, the Polar features a FET input stage and an Enhance function that mimics the behavior and characteristics of the input stage of tube amplifiers. The innovative input stage is never digitally overdriven, allowing the user to operate the interface like an amplifier model . In addition, BLACKSTAR has invested a lot of time in developing the Polar's preamps, which can compete with one of the most famous preamps in studio history: the Neve 1081. The innovative features of the Polar 2, together with an incredibly low noise floor of 115db, 48V phantom power and headphone outputs that can drive both high and low impedance, make Polar the ideal audio interface for all musicians who record guitar and audio.
