Live streaming on your smartphone is now extremely easy with a universal TRRS cable and the integrated usb port enables uncomplicated direct recording on a digital level. The newly developed free Architect software gives the user access to Blackstar's Cab Rig Lite, a state-of-the-art speaker simulation, as well as extensive editing and patch management. The Cab Rig Lite software is used to fine-tune the interaction between the virtual microphone, loudspeaker and the simulated room in order to be able to record in high quality with the Blackstar ID:CORE V3 via the direct USB audio output. In contrast to rigid 'snapshot' IRs, Cab Rig simulations are user-changeable and latency times are extremely short. By using full-range speakers, the ID:CORE V3 amplifier can also be used as active monitors for computers or smartphones.
