The OC707 is a robust vocal microphone with a die-cast housing and true condenser technology. It gives your voice great volume and allows all facets to stand out clearly in the mix without them appearing over-emphasized. The microphone is optimally adapted to the human voice. The proximity effect, for example, has been optimized so that you can use it to your advantage in every performance. The tonally open basic character of your voice is always retained.
The OCC7 small membrane capsule, developed and built in Vienna, is the centerpiece. Austrian Audio 's special open acoustic technology allows sound to penetrate the capsule almost freely from all sides. The minimization of sound-reflecting surfaces in the area around the capsule ensures that the player is as resonance-free as possible.
The combination of low self-noise (19 dB SPL) and high sound pressure level (150 dB SPL) results in an impressive dynamic range.
The OC707 is designed to maximally reduce shock, handling noise and feedback. The switchable 2nd order high-pass filter further enhances these properties and can be used to shape the sound.
